Housing Ad Whitepaper and Lead Magnet

After settling a lawsuit around housing discrimination, Facebook was determined to change its ad platform to ensure there was no unlawful targeting going on that could violate Fair Housing legislation.

That left real estate agents and brokerages unsure of how to proceed, and frustrated when their automated real estate ads were rejected.

HomeSpotter saw the opportunity to provide thought leadership, and to create warm leads for its advertising product Boost. To do this, we researched and compiled examples of dos and don’ts for real estate ads and published it in a downloadable white paper.

This proved to be one of the most popular posts for view and for shares on the HomeSpotter blog, and led to warm leads that could be funneled to the sales team automatically.

By using Hubspot to host the downloadable assets, we were able to gate it for key contact information like size of the brokerage and contact email address. The automation send the information directly into our sales CRM and scheduled tasks for the sales team to complete for follow up.
